A destructive Goblin

OK according to the chimp paradox  a Goblin is an embedded virus in your computer that’s difficult to remove. 

Well although it could equally be an autopilot used correctly how many times have you heard “what will …… think” or worse “what will . ….. think of us” 

If it’s relevant then I’d say autopilot if irrelevant then definitely Goblin. 

I still recall the last time I heard the latter, my ex and I had taken the difficult decision to go bankrupt, not an easy decision, it would unfortunately, and degradingly be in the local paper, and those words did not help.
