Serenity

I had to get up at 3am this morning to get to Hungerford by 8am.

I had my coffee and breakfast and I grabbed Stella’s lead and went off to walk her, the thing that struck me was the serenity, total peace.

It was way before the dawn chorus, so there was no bird song, the only sound in the entire fifteen minutes  was a passenger plane taking some lucky punters over seas or on a business trip.

I could see, thru an all but clear sky, stars filling the blanket of the  night, I’ll not guess at the constellations but the sky was full.
I apologise for the digression from my usual material, but I had to share that moment.
