Living in the moment

I find this difficult my mind is always wandering, especially when on my own in the van! What am I doing this evening, is lou ok,  or waying up the past , and getting annoyed.
As I become more positive its getting easier, listening to the radio does help I suppose because my chimp is distracted?

  1. Listening to something you have to actively listen to, like a book or a training course, audio books and podcasts will help hugely. Radio is passive listening (unless it’s a play or similar). Too much time for your mind to drift and fall back to the negative doesn’t help, constant practice and help in focussing your mind elsewhere is good.
